Ever Heard the Call to Missions?

Have you heard the call to missions?

If not, it is not because Jesus hasn't sounded the call.

What will you do about His divine call? Sit there? And say things like, "If He calls me, then I'll go. I'm just waiting for His call."

Have you ever read this amazing and best selling book called the Bible? It is replete with commands to spread the glories of the Gospel to places where it has not yet been. Will you enjoy your comfort now and procrastinate discomfort until you will have your fill of it as you face the King of Kings and try to explain your disobedience and your poor stewardship of His magnificent Gospel and His great commission. Or would you forsake your comfort now and carry the glorious Gospel to places where Jesus has never even been heard of?

Good news is only good to those who get to hear it...

Overflowing with Praise

Psalm 34 is a song of praise as David overflows with worship and gratitude in response to the goodness of the Lord.

Oh taste and see that the Lord is good.
Blessed are those who take refuge in Him.

- Ps. 34:8

What are you singing?

Romans 3:21-26

But now
the Righteousness of GOD
has been manifested
apart from the law,
Although the Law and the Prophets
bear witness to it

the Righteousness of GOD
through faith
in JESUS CHRIST

for all who believe.
For there is no distinction:

for all have sinned
and fall short
of the glory of GOD,

and are Justified
By HIS Grace
as A Gift,
through the redemption
that is in CHRIST JESUS
,

whom GOD Put Forward
as a Propitiation
By
HIS blood,
to be received by faith.

This was to show GOD'S Righteousness,
because in HIS Divine Forbearance
he had passed over former sins.

It was to show HIS Righteousness

at the present time,

so that HE Might Be Just
and The JUSTIFIER
of the one who has faith in JESUS.

You've Got To Hear This!

I recently found a link to this amazing message entitled:
David and Goliath We Never Knew You: The Good News that the Bible is Not All About You

The sermon was given by a man named David Prince, whom I had never previously heard of. This message came fairly highly recommended via Between Two Worlds. I downloaded it, listened, and was surprised to find that it exceeded my expectations based upon the recommendation.

Have you heard of this brother?

Have you heard this message?

If not, then do yourself the favor.

Glory Unveiled

What more of His goodness may be seen
Than that which He has revealed
For He once clothed Himself with dust
And by so doing His glory unveiled

That His eternal robe of glory He would lay down,
That for a while he would take off His crown
And wear this flesh that we too wear
With muscles, skin, and teeth and hair

This is a treasured mystery
That He Himself a Man would be
That Eternal Glory would stoop so low
To be born of a woman and know
The frailties of this human flesh
To awaken to sunrises and to refresh
With the coolness of water from a well
And with us filthy sinners dwell

He who is eternally void of woe
Did volunteer to suffer so
That we from sin might be set free
To know Him & enjoy Him, now and for eternity
